You know the feeling of a life that looks great on paper — the career, the friends, the busy calendar — and underneath it, something quietly missing.
I grew up visiting South Devon, so the pull to the coast was always there. In 2020 I finally listened to it. I packed up my life and headed for the coast. I happened to arrive straight into the Covid lockdown. So it was just me and the sea for months.
The Coast Changed Everything
Swapping the city for the coast wasn't a plan, it was an instinct. Out on the water, I found the clarity, and the sense of self I had been missing.
I started Sunsup because I wanted to inspire other women to get outside.
A plain white paddle board and a primary coloured dry bag was enough for me to design my own. My idea was simple: design pieces that women actually want to use outdoors.
